This summer, BONNIE’s sunshine vibe came alive in person with our Summer of BONNIE pop-up series across New Zealand.
From Nelson’s laid-back charm, to Christchurch’s studio energy, and Auckland’s fashion-forward streets, we shared laughs, glow moments, and plenty of golden skin inspiration with our amazing community.
NELSON
We started with our Nelson community at the BONNIE Capsule in Richmond. From Appleby Farms’ banoffee ice cream scoops to personalised BONNIE moments and so many great conversations, it was the perfect way to begin our pop-up series.
A note from Mary:
Awww I just loved kicking this off in my hometown and bringing the BONNIE Capsule to Richmond. I grew up here, in the Nelson region, and so much of what shaped BONNIE started with those summers... long days outside, beach trips, river swims, and that familiar feeling of being sun-kissed and confident.
A lot of the inspiration behind BONNIE comes from that upbringing and the way sunshine made you feel back then. Bronzed, healthy skin gave me so much confidence, especially in my teenage years. Today, in my 30s, that feeling still lives on... but in a safer, skin-first way. Still warm, still bronzed, just done differently. No scorching under the sun for hours on end to create that golden tone.
Being able to bring this little moment back home and share it with you meant a lot. Thank you to everyone who came along and supported the Capsule. I loved seeing you.
CHRISTCHURCH
Next, we headed to Christchurch for our BONNIE Studio pop-up at The Crossing. We loved welcoming both familiar and new faces into our studio space, sharing glowing moments, personalised BONNIE touches, and gorgeous conversation.

Seeing our Christchurch community in person was so special. Bringing BONNIE into a space where everyone could ask questions, try products, and connect over skin-first tanning reminded us why we started this journey. Every smile, story, and shared moment made this pop-up one to remember.
AUCKLAND
We wrapped up Summer of BONNIE in Auckland with our final pop-up: BONNIE × Caitlin Crisp in Ponsonby. Two days of fashion, glow, and sunshine, celebrating thoughtful design, beautiful details, and creating moments in real life. From the exclusive BONNIE Bodice and lemon spritz cocktails to familiar and new faces through the doors, it was the perfect finale to our summer tour.

Caitlin and I have known each other since 2017, when I was part of one of her student shoots in her final year of fashion school. Collaborating on BONNIE × Caitlin Crisp for the second time felt incredibly natural. We share an intentional, detail-driven approach to building, with community at the centre.
Bringing BONNIE into her Ponsonby store alongside her collection was such a special way to close out Summer of BONNIE. Thank you to everyone who came by, supported the pop-up, and spent time with us over the weekend.

Across every city, the energy of the BONNIE community stood out. From first-time visitors discovering GOLDEN and GLOW to long-time fans sharing their favourite shades, we loved meeting each of you in person. Your smiles, stories, and sunshine-filled energy made Summer of BONNIE 2026 truly magical.
